Overview

The Firm has a thriving China Real Estate Practice Group that focuses both on Chinese clients and U.S. clients doing business with Chinese counterparties.  Among other things, attorneys in the Firm’s China Real Estate Practice Group have:

  • Represented Chinese clients in connection with platform investments in U.S. clients that are set up to handle multiple transactions; 

  • Represented Chinese clients in connection with limited partner investments in U.S. real estate development transactions;

  • Represented U.S. clients in connection with major NYC development transactions with Chinese lender and investor counterparties;

  • Represented U.S. clients in connection with EB-5 transactions with Chinese investors;

  • Represented U.S. clients in major loan transactions borrowing from Chinese lenders;

  • Represented U.S. clients in numerous transactions in Hong Kong and mainland China; and

  • Represented U.S. clients in structuring funds for US investors to invest in Chinese private equity opportunities.
