A Letter from Managing Partner, Terri Adler
Dear Friend of Duval & Stachenfeld:
As a Firm, Duval & Stachenfeld routinely acts as a source of advice, guidance, and most of all protection during the most uncertain times. We do not take for granted the trust and confidence our clients' place in us; so, in light of recent events, we wanted to share how D&S is handling the current COVID-19 outbreak to protect our community and to ensure business continuity for our clients.
From the outset of the outbreak, D&S has been monitoring all updates provided by local and federal authorities as well as the medical community. We have been weighing all guidance provided daily to make informed decisions that maintain the good health and mental wellness of our employees, smooth operation of our Firm, and uninterrupted service to our clients.
Although the situation is ever-changing, we wanted to highlight a few precautions the Firm has been taking:
From the start of the outbreak, we have encouraged all employees, clients, and guests that had or could have had potential exposure to the virus through travel or were showing symptoms of being sick to stay home.
We initiated our business contingency plan, which included but was not limited to, testing all Firm technologies and simulating potential emergencies to ensure our operational readiness.
We have been encouraging teleconferencing in place of non-essential meetings for some weeks.
We have implemented a remote work plan to ensure the safety of our community and also to limit the risk of exposure.
As a law firm, we routinely have attorneys and paraprofessionals working remotely on behalf of our clients, so we remain committed to working hard to help our clients achieve their business goals during these uncertain times.
D&S has always taken pride in delivering outstanding client service regardless of outside forces and we expect that we will be operating the same as usual with a few more precautions set in place in the near term.
Our thoughts are with our community that has been directly impacted by the outbreak and the medical professionals that are working hard to care for us all.
Lastly, we thank you for entrusting us with your most important matters and we are committed to assisting our clients every step of the way as we weather the current environment together.
If you have any questions about our COVID-19 preparedness, please contact your relationship partner or Caitlin Velez.
Please stay safe and healthy.
Terri L. Adler
