Timothy J. Pastore joined the Firm in 2005 and is a member of the Litigation Department. Previously, Mr. Pastore was a partner in a large national firm.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Pastore gained extensive litigation and trial experience as a Judge Advocate (JAG) in the United States Air Force and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney with the United States Department of Justice. Throughout his career, Mr. Pastore has litigated a wide variety of matters before federal, state and military courts and has represented the United States before foreign governments (such as Japan and Iceland).
Currently, Mr. Pastore represents large national and international corporate clients from the security and alarm, telecommunications, banking, securities, biotechnology, real estate, and entertainment industries. He has experience litigating a broad range of complex commercial matters, including breach of contract, premises liability, defense of directors and officers, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secret protection, mass tort, product liability, partnership disputes, and securities fraud.
Mr. Pastore is lead litigation counsel to a national, publicly-held security and alarm company and has handled actions in state and federal courts throughout the country, including in New York, New Jersey, Texas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Florida, Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Nevada.
Mr. Pastore is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
Mr. Pastore received his B.A. from Bucknell University in 1993 and his J.D. from Boston College in 1996.
Mr. Pastore is licensed in New York and Massachusetts. He is also admitted to appear before the United States Supreme Court, United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and United States Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals.
