Keith E. Blackman
Mr. Blackman's practice encompasses a broad range of complex commercial disputes, including defending clients against claims of fraud, breach of contract, RICO and violations of securities laws. Mr. Blackman has experience in commercial litigation, securities arbitration, intellectual property litigation and white collar defense. He principally represents financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and BNY Mellon, and he regularly appears in state and federal courts in New York and throughout the United States. Mr. Blackman has also represented financial services clients in proceedings before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Georgia.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Blackman practiced at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and interned for the Computer Crimes and Intellectual Property Section of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Obtained the dismissal of numerous multi-million dollar claims brought against financial institutions by participants in unsuccessful tax shelters, which were upheld on appeal in the Second and Eleventh Circuits;.
Won the dismissal of an action brought against a financial services client by sixteen investors before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Successfully argued appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on behalf of a financial services client.
